Coming home to yourself through the simplicity of touch

Gentle attuned listening touch that invites you to come home to your body and discover the truth of who you are

The Approach

Sometimes our bodies hold what our minds have learned to set aside. Tension becomes a pattern, pain becomes familiar. Traditional approaches, while valuable, may only address part of the picture.

Your body is more than structure—it has a story
As a physiotherapist, I understand the mechanics of the body—how joints move, where muscles connect, what creates stability and what creates strain. But as a Rosen Method practitioner, I've learned to listen for what lies beneath: the deeper tensions, the held emotions, the breath that never quite deepens.

Think of it like software and hardware. Physiotherapy addresses the structural issues—the "hardware" that needs realignment, strengthening, or rehabilitation. Rosen Method works with the "software"—the unconscious holding patterns, the emotions that were put away because there wasn’t enough support at the time to fully feel them. Rosen addresses the nervous system responses that keep tension locked in place. Rosen works with the whole of the person and does not separate emotions, thoughts and beliefs from the physical body.

This work is for you if:

  • At your own pace, you feel ready to explore what your body may hold beyond past trauma.

  • You are curious about the connection between what you feel in your body and what you may be holding inside.

  • Your body holds tension in familiar places, yet you sense there may be more behind it than simply tight muscles or posture.

  • You would like to understand and work with your nervous system, rather than feeling as though you are fighting against it.

  • You are open to an approach that invites awareness rather than imposing solutions.

  • You want to be an active participant in your own process, rather than a passive recipient of treatment.

  • You have tried conventional treatments, but something still doesn’t quite feel right, or you sense there may be more to discover.

This isn't quick-fix work. It's an invitation to notice, to soften, to allow what wants to shift. Lasting change happens when we have more choice over our habitual responses. Awareness is the key.

About
Touch Matters

Touch Matters — the name says it all.
I am passionate about the power of touch as a pathway for healing and self-discovery.

In Rosen Method, the impact of touch can be profound. Gentle, attentive touch can help us reconnect with our bodies, especially after trauma. It allows us to explore our inner landscape and rediscover a sense of safety and belonging within ourselves.

Through this process, we can begin to re-love and accept our bodies. It opens the door to deeper self-acceptance, appreciation for who we are, and more meaningful connection with others.

In physiotherapy, touch is essential. It allows the therapist to properly assess and treat the body, understanding what is happening beneath the surface and supporting recovery in a precise and effective way.
